-- no debconf information
Audio playback is silent on Debian 13 (Trixie) despite all PipeWire
services running.

pactl info shows active default sink (RUNNING, not muted). However,
WirePlumber repeatedly fails to create links between nodes and sinks.

Logs:
Sep 29 11:37:46 wireplumber[1463]: link failed: 1 of 1 PipeWire links
failed to activate
Sep 29 11:37:46 wireplumber[1463]: link failed: some node was destroyed
before the link was created
Sep 29 11:57:09 wireplumber[1463]: failed to activate item: Object
activation aborted: proxy destroyed

Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot Debian 13
2. Log into GNOME session (PipeWire stack)
3. Play audio (Firefox or pw-play)
4. Observe silence; sink is RUNNING but no audio output

Expected result:
Audio should be routed to the default speaker

Actual result:
No sound, WirePlumber logs linking failures

Additional info:
- pipewire, pipewire-pulse, wireplumber services are all active
- ALSA playback (aplay) works correctly
- Possibly related to async event race condition
- Bluez warnings present, though Bluetooth is disabled

Versions:
apt policy pipewire pipewire-pulse wireplumber
