frontend not found

*On my SAMSAT STB (that works fine), i cannot find
/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0*
*all i can see in this directory:*

crw-r--r--    1 root     root      190,  20 Jan  1  2000 demux1
crw-r--r--    1 root     root      190,  36 Jan  1  2000 demux2
crw-r--r--    1 root     root      190,  52 Jan  1  2000 demux3
crw-r--r--    1 root     root      190,  15 Jan  1  2000 swap0

Can i use demux0 (with some filters) device to do some frontend operations?
