Nur so eine Vermutung: vielleicht ist dein Beispiel etwas schlecht
gew=E4hlt, denn das folgende Beispiel funzt bei mir prima:

chelli@slipstream:~$ df -h
Dateisystem          Gr=F6=DFe Benut  Verf Ben% Eingeh=E4ngt auf
/dev/hda7             3,9G  1,7G  2,2G  43% /
=2E..

sowie:

chelli@slipstream:~$ LC_ALL=3DC df -h
Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda7             3.9G  1.7G  2.2G  43% /
=2E..

Ich bin mir sicher, diese Syntax auch schon woanders gesehen zu haben,
nur leider wei=DF ich auch nicht mehr genau wo, und Doku zu dem Thema
finde ich auch nicht wirklich.
