vdr-plugin-softdevice package for debian?

Hi Debian VDR Team,

I'm one of the developers of the softdevice and I wonder if it would be 
possible to create an official vdr-plugin-softdevice package.

The softdevice (http://softdevice.berlios.de) is a software emulated 
mpeg2 decoder for the vdr. It supports framebuffer, vidix, directFB and 
X11-Xv video out methods. The softdevice has been under heavy 
development during the last months and has reached a very good level of 
usability and stability.
I wonder now if it would be possible to include the softdevice into 
debian, I already checked the dependencies, except for vidix and dfb++ 
(both are optional) they are all satisfied.

So my question is now did you already consider to package the softdevice 
for Debian? Is there something we can do to help creating a debian package?
