Package: vdr
Version: 1.2.6-12
Severity: important

On an amd64 system with a kernel 2.6.x the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4 in
runvdr prevent vdr from starting. On i38 systems it works fine, but if
this parameter has some use, please analyse the kernel version set the
paramater correctly, otherwise delete this paramater. In my
configuration vdr works without LD_ASSUME_KERNEL, but I'm not using any
plugins ;-)
