It would be very good if would join the VDR Team because atm i am the
only one who can upload packages directly - a second Debian Developer
would be very helpful, especially when i am at vacation for a longer
time.

As Tobias said allready, the dxr3-plugin is more or less ready to be
included in the official archive - i guess that just a ITP is needed.
One of the reasons why the package i not in the archive yet is that i
am a little bit careful with uploading packages which i can not test
on my own. (because they require special hardware like in this case)

So if you are interested in helping with the package(-s), i can add
you to the VDR Team and give you commit-access to the repository.
(Using svn is rather easy, especially if you are familiar with cvs. We
are using svn-buildpackge for building the packages, you can find a
short description about using it under [1].)
