Error in vdradmin

I tried to reproduce the problem here, but it allways worked
successfully without manually touching and chowning the pidfile.

After starting the init-script is created with the following rights:

-rw-r--r--  1 root        root           6 2006-03-05 00:32 vdradmin.pid

Maybe you can investigate this issue some more?
