I'm not sure if this should be counted as dpkg-buildpackage's bug. The
build process shouldn't rely on CXXFLAGS not beeing set. The upstream
authors shouldn't have used "CXXFLAGS ?=" in the first place - this
seems to be very unusual. I'm trying to fix this by setting CXXTOOLS in
the Make.config, that ships with vdr-dev and is include by every plug-in.
