Bug#477062: Depends on makedev

Severity: important

vdr depends on makedev. At a minimum, it should add an alternative for
udev. Better yet, it should not depend on any device scripts at all,
and assume that the devices already exist, which they likely do on
either a static /dev system or a udev-based system.
