Hi,

do you know if anybody is planing to package cle266mpedec
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/cle266mpegdec/) ?

I just managed to get softdevice with viafb up and running. I used the
howto in
http://www.mellander.org/per/projects/linux/?chapter=epia-hw-cle266.

softdevice uses directfb to display the video using libcle266mpegdec to
use the hardware mpegdecoder on the via epia boards. I had to build
libcle266, directfb and dfb++ from cvs to get it running.

It would be really nice to have all the components in Debian either in
the main archive or on e-tobi.

What do you think?
