Bug#484929: nvram-wakeup: Address detection procedure is missing handling of year, and is a bit unclear

Package: nvram-wakeup
Version: 0.97-12
Reading README.mb and trying to detect the correct values for a
Thinkpad X40, I discovered that the instructions are missing
information on how to set the year. Should it be changed to detect
what address is used for the year, or stay fixed during the detection
process? Please specify this in the documentation, and update the
guess-helper to mention how to set the year.
The guess-helper do not mention how to set the month value. Should it
have the same values as specified in README.mb, or should it stay
fixed during the procedure?
Also, at the end of a guess-helper run, there is an error
/usr/sbin/guess-helper: line 241: cd: /root/guess-nvram-module: No
such file or directory
I guess there is a typo somewhere?
The resulting nvram-wakeup.conf file generated by guess-helper do not
work. I get a syntax error message regarding line 13, which contain
"rtc_min = 0x40 # but differs somewhere else". Not quite sure how to
recover from that one.
Happy hacking,
