Package: libxine2-xvdr
Version: 1.0.7+cvs20120325.0846-1
Severity: important
Hello
Xine is now looking for plugins in multi-arch'ed directory:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xine/plugins/2.1/
Unfortunately, the xvdr input plugin is still delivered in a
non-multi-arch dir:
$ dpkg --listfiles libxine2-xvdr |grep .so
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/2.1/post/xineplug_post_autocrop.so
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/2.1/post/xineplug_post_swscale.so
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/2.1/post/xineplug_post_audiochannel.so
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/2.1/xineplug_inp_xvdr.so
Thus, xine is unable to load the xvdr plugin.
As a workaround, creating this link will enable xine to find the
plugin:
$ ll /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xine/plugins/2.1/xineplug_inp_xvdr.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 46 avril 7 17:53 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xine/plugins/2.1/xineplug_inp_xvdr.so -> /usr/lib/xine/plugins/2.1/xineplug_inp_xvdr.so
Note to self (and anyone creating this link): be sure to remove the
link before upgrading to a multi-arche'd lixine2-xvdr
All the best
