Hello,

I'm experiencing/playing with VDR (2.4.0 release) and my fresh upgraded
Debian 10.0-system. It's the first time that I need the 'vdr-plugin-
softhddevice'. In past I used always ff-DVB-s(2) pci- and pcie-cards.

By installing the softhddevice plugin I got a mystic message: The
installed vdr-system is release 2.4.0. But 'apt-get install vdr-plugin-
softhddevice' posts, that the plugin depends on vdr-abi-2.2.0, which is
part of vdr-2.2.0.

I downloaded the debian packages vdr-plugin-
softhddevice_0.6.0+git20160108-1+b1_amd64.deb and vdr-plugin-
softhddevice_0.6.0+git20160108-3_amd64.deb. The first one is the
package which is addressed by the 'apt-get install ..' command. But the
second is the really needed package - it depends on vdr-abi-2.4.0.

I installed the files from the '..-3_amd64.deb' package manually and my
vdr-system is running well.

Maybe I'm total wrong, but please have a look at the above listed
softhddevice-packages.

Best regards
