Package: vim
Version: 6.1.018-1
Severity: normal

In command mode, if I select a block of text 1 character wide by any number of
lines tall (even a single line), then hit r, then type a digraph (e.g.,
control-k a e, an ae-ligature), the replacement character is not the digraph
that I typed, but something else, usually <e6>. For the digraph i. (dotless i),
the faulty result is a numeral 1. For g. (g with dot above), I get '!'. (LANG
is set to 'en_US.UTF-8'.) If I substitute c for r above, the digraphs work
properly in all cases that I have tried.

Closing this non-bug, accordingly to the vim documentation. Handling of
digraph in replace mode depends on the D flag of the "cpo" variables.

Submitter of merged bug #168107 has already been informed.
For more information on why this is not a bug see:

Cheers.
