Uhm, strange, it works properly when VARIANT=something is specified on
cmdline. The strange thing is that even in that case at least two
VARIANTS are build (the chosen one + vim basic). So I can't guess what's
going on. I've no time to look at it right now.

Solved this issue however I'm in favor of an upload, beside all because
it fixes a FTBFS.
