Bug#471890: vim-scripts: please include DetectIndent script on the package

Package: vim-scripts
Version: 7.1.6
Severity: wishlist

The DetectIndent script is a very useful script that (as the name says)
detects the indentation of the files you open and adjusts several
parameters (tabstop, softtabstop, shiftwidth, expandtab etc)
accordingly. This way you don't mess up with other people's indentation,
hitting tab always means "one more indentation level", and hitting
backspace with only blanks to the left of the cursor always means
"remove one level of indentation".

The script page is here:
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1171

If the maintainers think it is a good idea, I'll make the necessary
patch to include the script in the package; just let me know.
