Package: vim
Version: 2:7.4.826-1
Severity: wishlist

Currently, I have a wrapper around vim to detect a tty, and launch
x-terminal-emulator if vim doesn't have a tty but does have $DISPLAY.
I'd love to have that functionality built in, instead, so that running
"vim" would automatically bring up a vim window even when run from a
graphical program without a tty.
