Package: vim-common
Version: 2:8.0.0003-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

on my /etc/vim/vimrc.local I have these two settings (among others):

set viminfo=
set mouse=

that are ignored (or maybe overwritten) when I launch vim.

I found a workaround to “force” those settings when I use vim: setting a symlink like this:

~/.vimrc -> /etc/vim/vimrc.local

With that symlink in place .viminfo file and mouse are disabled. If I remove that symlink they are not.

Thanks.
