Matt ZImmerman <mdz@debian.org> was the maintainer for gnophone. Unfortunat=
ly=20
upstream have not maintained gnophone since 2001 and it is now at the state=
=20
where it does not build (very cleanly) at all.

If someone would like a challenge it could be a worthwhile project to=20
reinstall in Debian.
