Package: asterisk-gtk-console
Version: 1:1.0.2-2
Severity: normal

There is no documentation that relates the asterisk-gtk-console to the
pbx_gtkconsole.so module. While I was a little persistant - I ended up
locating the voip maintainers list archive, downloading it, importing it
into Evolution, then searching for console. (This is likely further than
most would go :-)

Suggestion #1:

README.Debian
This package provides the pbx_gtkconsole.so module. You can activate it
in /etc/asterisk/modules.conf by adding the following line:

	load => pbx_gtkconsole.so

In case you're wondering why this package is separate, it's because
otherwise a perfectly console based PBX application would also require X.

Suggestion #2:

Add a similar text to the package description.

Final feedback - completely unrelated to this report:

I installed Asterisk yesterday and it just worked. Thanks. (Now all we need
is some help with figuring out how and why it works :-)
