Package: asterisk
Version: 1:1.0.2-2.1
Severity: normal

I want to run asterisk with '-p' .
This requires changing the init.d script:

1. remove the option '--chuid' from stat-stop-daemon on 'start' . Asterisk
should be run as root and change to user asterisk on its own.

2. Appen in the end of that command:

  -- -U $NAME -p

NAME is used in that script both as the user name to which asterisk
should change and as a label of the service name. This is somewhat
confusing.

(Asterisk 1.0.2-2.1 is loacally-built)
