request for packaging

Hello,

I will like to make a request for packaging a voip software in Debian. The
software is Yate (Yet Another Telephony Engine), the website is
http://yate.null.ro . 

We have modified the build system so that Yate is working on Debian now.
We have a few Debian users and it will be easier for them to have a .deb
but we don't use this distribution, so we have no idea how to make the
package.

We have the .spec for rpms, and we will like to add packaging support 
files for debian in our project.

Can you please create and test the package?
