Hi - I can't reach the Asterisk package maintainer, maybe someone here
can help?

The Asterisk package in the unstable distribution depends on
"libopenh323-1.12.2" and "libpt-1.5.2", which aren't in unstable (bug
#255662). Instead, "libopenh323-1.13.2" and "libpt-1.6.3" are. I don't
understand how this could happen, since libopenh323-dev and libpt-dev
correspond to recent versions - so ${shlibs:Depends} should get
replaced by the available packages.

Maybe the package simply needs to be rebuilt? I guess it's not possible
for this to happen automatically when a library version changes ...

Anyway, I've got an X101P, which came with instructions to install
asterisk, zaptel, libpri, and zapata from cvs.digium.com. Of course, I
much prefer packages ; ) So what does "Debian" suggest re: zaptel,
libpri, and zapata? Should I get them from cvs.digium.com, or are they
available elsewhere?

I looked for the answer to this question in the asterisk package
documentation, to no avail.

Thanks!

Jack
