Hi All,
Had a heavy weekend trying to get things up and running, a couple of
issues are still unresolved.
Of most important is the use of the current libopenh323/ libpt in the
use of other packages.
I beleive that gnomemeeting-1.0.x needed at least these versions
(h323/pwlib) to build correctly. However I have not been able to get
either asterisk (chan_h323) nor gnugk to build with these versions of
h323/pwlib.
ii libpt-dev 1.6.5-3 Portable Windows Library development files
ii libopenh323-de 1.13.4-3 H.323 aka VoIP library development files
Asterisk chan_h323 fails with:
In file included from /usr/share/pwlib/include/ptlib.h:169,
from ast_h323.h:30,
from ast_h323.cpp:29:
/usr/include/ptlib/unix/ptlib/pdirect.h:78: error: parse error before `
protected'
/usr/include/ptlib/unix/ptlib/pdirect.h:80: error: syntax error before `*'
token
Of a secondary issue, I am still having difficulty getting svn working
correctly. I have managed to checkin some changes to asterisk and
branch off the 1:0.9.1 release, but I still can't get svn-buildpackage
I also not that upstream, http://h323.sf.net has more recent versions of
these packages available. pwlib-1.7.4 & openh323-1.14.3.
What are the current plans for upgrading?
Might I suggest that we use experimental as a staging ground to ensure
that all relevant packages do build, prior to uploading openh323/pwlib
to unstable and breaking a number of packages (as we currently have at
the moment)
Mark
to work as advertised. I'll need to work on that no doubt.
