Hi Dan and Anand,

i'm writing to you on behalf of the pkg-voip team of Debian. We're a new
group targetted to bringing together all VoIP packages in Debian. You
can find our SVN repository at http://svn.debian.org/viewcvs/pkg-voip/
and the mailinglist at alioth. The team is listed yet as maintainer of
GnomeMeeting, openh323 and pwlib, and other developers are working with
us in order to get his packages also team maintained. These packages
are:
- pwlib
- openh323
- gnomemeeting
- ohphone
- openmcu
- openam=20
- asterisk
- bayonne
- t38modem
- siproxd
- libosip*
- kphone
- gnugk=20
- pstngw
- chan-capi

to be all maintained by the pkg-voip team. The advantage for the user is
that the discussion about "is it a problem of the app, of the lib, of
the gateway/proxy" will be stopped. It's all developers in one
mailinglist and the one who knows how to fix it, will help with the
problem. If you agree with this, please join the pkg-voip group on
alioth and subscribe to our ml. Please contact me or jsogo@debian.org to
explain further steps to you how to migrate the packages cleanly to
pkg-voip.
