G'Day,
I just spent a good 5 hours playing with asterisk
(1:0.9.1+1.0RC1-1) trying to get it to talk to my VoiceTronix
OpenSwitch12, only to find that the vpb channel is missing. I've since
downloaded and compiled from upstream and have it working.
My question is, why is chan_vpb.so not included with Debian's
version? Is this a licensing issue (chan_vpb.c is GPL, however the
kernel driver is a mix of LGPL and non-DFSG compatible), a compile issue
or just a plain mistake. If its either of the last two can you let me
know so I can submit a bug report against it.
Regards,
Adrian Woodley
