The package description for the asterisk package contains a few errors.
This is the portion of the description I am referring to.
==
To use Asterisk right now, you will need at least one of the following:
* OSS compatible full-duplex sound card (http://www.opensound.com)
* ALSA compatible full-duplex sound card (http://www.alsa-project.org)
* All Wildcard (tm) products from LSS (http://www.linux-support.net)
* QuickNet Internet PhoneJack and LineJack (http://www.quicknet.net)
* Adtran Atlas 800 Plus (http://www.adtran.com)
* ISDN4Linux compatible ISDN card (http://www.isdn4linux.de)
* Tormenta Dual T1 card (http://zapatatelephony.org)
This Debian package includes the sample PBX, with demonstration extensions, etc
==
You can use asterisk with VoIP with only a net connection. Also the
Wildcard hardware is now sold by digium (www.digium.com), formerly
linux support services. It would be better (IMO) if you just said
a full-duplex sound card rather than specifying ALSA or OSS. Since
you said one of the following, All Wildcard products should be replaced
with Any Wildcard product.
In addition to this, the last line stating what the package includes
needs to be changed as well. There is no sample PBX, perhaps you should
call it a sample configuration.
Just some things I noticed.
