Thank you.  Now I got a step further.  But it still do not work with
my sound device.  When I test /dev/dsp0 using "Test Settings" in the
configuration Druid, the recording work just fine, but an error appear
reporting

  Cannot use the audio device

  The selected audio device (/dev/dsp0) was successfully opened, but
  it is impossible to write data to this device.  Plese check your
  audio setup.

My sound driver is i810_audio, and I use the 2.4.26 kernel.  I'm not sure

Including OSS plugins by default would make me happy, at least. :)
