Hi,

I just happened to stumble across this wishlist bug. I have ITPed
spandsp a while ago, however packaging it is difficult because it
heavily relies upon libtiff's intestines (I wouldn't dare to call these
"internals"). It is on my list, and I have packages that once worked
before the libtiff transition, however cleaning up the TIFF handling
code is a nontrivial task and needs to be done before spandsp can be
packaged.
