I plan to maintain at least portaudio, but I will need a sponsor.

I'm also willing to maintain iax2. But iax also needs a maintainer and I
think they should be maintained by the same person. I don't use iax and
can't maintain it. Maybe iax should be removed from Debian, because it
seems that no packages currently depends on libiax0 or libiax-dev, the
binary packages created from iax.

Besides my iaxclient package two more people are working on another
iaxclient and iaxcomm package respectively, according to Debian ITP bug
reports. I'm prepared to maintain my package, but I don't know the
status of those packages.
