One thing to watch for with those packages: you cannot downgrade back to
Debian's packages from them. Their version number is way-way-way ahead
of Debian. e.g.: current Asterisk version there is:

  3:20041216-1

In contrast with 

  1:1.0.7-2

in Sid/Sarge.
