Btw. there's a patch in voip-info.org
(http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+ZapHFC), that does fix unloading
the module of 2 zaphfc cards. For now i run those 2 cards in different
hosts, thus I cannot comment on its quality. Just FYI.

However that still doesn't fix the problem with zaphfc and building on
non-i386. We should start this zaphfc-packs in experimental once the
rest has moved to SID ok.

Tzafrir, I don't know about BRI cards, but for ZapHFC the problem is
that this will still render your system unusable (in terms of you can't
do calls). The fix must be for now unloading the module, reloading the
module and then reinitializing the card(s).

Once i know how to fix this (in the module), I'll for sure share your
idea. ;)
