Isn't the obvious solution to remove the 'static' keyword from line 64 of
channel.c?
That, or to remove the declaration of 'uniquelock' from the header if it's
not actually supposed to be supported.
Or to rename one of the two variables in the source, if these are actually
two variables with the same name.
