There is another way, which can be a little unclean, but less prone to
errors:
1:1.1.99+1.2.0.beta.dfsg-[1,2...] -> experimental
1:1.1.99+1.2.0.rc[1,2,...].dfsg-[1,2...] -> experimental
1:1.2.0.dfsg-[1,2...] -> unstable
Of course, this means that no real 1.1.99 should be made, but well, I
hope it won't be needed.
