Package: gnomemeeting
Version: 1.2.1-1
Severity: normal

In the settings dialog you can select 3 sound devs:
1) for input, 2) output and
3) for incoming call sounds etc. The third option is
in a different place than the first 2.

The third option should allow selecting sound _output_ capable devices, but
the list corresponds to the _input_ capable devices. I hacked this in another
version of the package so I know the problem is a simple blunder in the
source code. Very easy to patch. I don't have easy access to the details now.

Please fix this quickly, because this hampers the use of gnomemeeting as a
simple telephone replacement. You can't hear the phone ringing, if you
are not wearing the headset. Using pcsp sound driver for incoming call sounds
is not possible, because pcsp does not have sound recording capability
so it is not shown in the list. For some reason setting the device via
gconf does not help either, because (if I remember correctly) it gets
changed back to a device from the wrong list.

Thank you,
	Peter
