New echo cancelling in asterisk

Hello,
some days ago I saw someone speaking about different echo cancelers for
Asterisk.
I have big echo issues and after a bit of research it seems that the
best thing to do is to enable ECHO_CAN_MARK2 with AGGRESSIVE_ SUPPRESSOR
as explained here:

I would like to know if that can be the default in debian, otherwise I
would be grateful if someone can explain me what is the best way to
compile debian packages with those options configured.
