Yes, that script should be added back to either of the packages. Right
now, i'm unsure what the new logic is with all the asterisk|
asterisk-config|asterisk-{bristuff|classic} and thus where to fit it
properly. Has anyone set up some proper documentation where we fit which
type of script and thus where the asterisk_fix should go? I'd say into
"asterisk" itself, objections?

Btw. Right now it's impossible to bootstrap a working asterisk config
with the packs in SID as the asterisk user won't be added due to the
lack of the asterisk_fix script. Therefore we should fix this issue with
the next upload.
