Yes a generic, get-orig-source and print-versions would be useful for
cdbs,  I have also started propogating these into the other alioth team I
work with kde-extras.

Note also there is the dpatch-get-orig script which does similar, some a
bit better, some a bit worse, than what we are using in pkg-voip.
