IMHO, asterisk_fix shouldn't be in the file system as a standalone script,
but rather a common code snipped included in the postinst/ init.d of the
relevant packages. (asterisk & others, which others in particular amp?
ari?)

Why don't we keep asterisk_fix within svn.debian.org under the debian/
dirs of the relevant packages, but as a common/ linked file and include it
in the postinst/ init.d of the relevant packages at build time..

Or we could even maintain it in the pkg-voip svn root, or even generate a
pkg-voip/common/ scripts like kde do on svn.debian.

This way we have one code snippet, which can be maintained in one place
only, and then encorporated into the relevant packages at build time.
