About new twinkle

Hi!
I have compiled new 0.5 version of twinkle without any problem using our old
packaging stuff, as the new source uses (like 0.4.2 did) kde stuff for the
systray I like to compile it without kde (adding to our rules a simple:
export cdbs_configure_flags=--without-kde) which gives me a wonderful
twinkle that doesn't require kde.
I wanted to change the rules so that we could create two packages a full one
and a light one, but I'm told that it is difficult to do this with cdbs, I
have looked at it a bit but I'm new to cdbs and indeed it seemed to me that
it at least difficult to make it compile the program twice to generate the
two binaries, anybody knows how to make it, any example?
Anyway, I think that it would be good to encourage upstream to make the
systray stuff not depend on kde, or is there any problem with this?
Anybody knows where to find doc on how to make a systray that is not
dependant on kde or gnome? There are some programs that do work on the
systray without needing gnome or kde dependencies, at least kiax and gaim
come to mind right now.
I think that's all I had to say. Comments are welcome, of course!
Regards...
