Well, eventually you should pinpoint with part of the asterisk package
does *NOT* yet hold true for the goal you just set. For what we can
tell, the package has already seen quite some amount of testing and
tweaking, so it *SHOULD* be ready for production use as is. If you see
that this does not work for you, then please bring forth the list of
open issues.

well, if you apt-get source asterisk from the pkg-voip repository, there
is no need to run get-orig-source. Moreover the target is meant for work
with the SVN repository, therefore the snapshot version does not fulfill
the expected notation of the commands. There's nothing to be corrected
here, it's just that you need to use either the svn checkout from
svn.debian.org and get-orig-source or the apt-get source, not mix both.
