hi

by default, gnomemeeting register users on ils.seconic.com

are at least, it did: nowadays, registration always fails

AFAIK it may be due to the fact that the upstream developer started
the ekiga project, and ekiga requires a registration at www.ekiga.net

may you set up a LDAP or ILS server in the Debian domain, so that 
Debian users of gnomemeeting could use it ?
and set that as the default for gnomemeeting ?
