make-kpkg modules not compiling qozap and others

Hello,
I don't know if you are the right person to address this issue, 
otherwise, my apologies...

I try to install zaptel package version 1.2.1-2bpo1 backported to Debian 
Sarge as downloaded by www.backports.org. Unfortunately I notice making 
zaptel-modules for my kernel version (2.6.8) doesn't include the qozap 
module. The directory is present but it seems to be skipped by the 
compilation stage.
