We had this discussion before, and decided to place the default file in
the package asterisk, and not asterisk-config .

It is not asterisk configuration. It must be within the same package as
the init.d script, as it is its configuration. And the init.d script
should be part of the package asterisk, as asterisk contains the
binaries needed to run the ervice.

I don't think we need to replicate the defaults file and init.d script
in any asterisk-config-custom package.
