I don't think so. What fails is d-shlibs which rely on debian/control.

Seems that Ubuntu triggers the CDBS "maintainer mode" during autobuild,
rebuilding debian/control which on Debian must remain untouched by
autobuilders. And that something then goes wrong parsing dependencies on
that alien distro.


I will need to do an autopsy on the debian folder _after_ a failed
build. Can you provide me that?

Sorry, I cannot replicate the build environment (or won't take the time
to try).
