Hi, I will now be supporting a telecom company that is using Asterisk so I
want to get familiar with it. I have used various Linux/Unix based OSs
before but which of the current version would you recommend?

I prefer to be able to install it to a seperate 10GB hard drive while
running Windows 2000. But I know there are version that require making CDs
to install from.

I just got an email telling me that they used Linux OS: Ubuntu 7.04 Server
so I will look for that one.

How large a partition should I prepare for this OS and your software and
database?
