I don't see why it should do so from the source. The update in
30_ast-data-dir should make it look over at
/var/lib/asteriks/sounds/priv-callerintros, no? At least I had not found
any other place in the sourcecode where this directory gets mentioned.
As that patch is Debian-only, we should try to revert as much as we need
to get it comply with FHS and then move the remainder of this patch
upstream. Can you try where it comes from that this directory change
isn't respected? Anything in /etc/asterisk/?
