Licencing for iLBC components of asterisk

Kevin,
Could I ping you on the status of licencing for the iLBC codec files that
are currently shipped with asterisk.
I couldn't see anything in the Digium issue tracker.
On the face of it the licence[1] for iLBC doesn't look compatible with
the GPL.
Has Digium obtained a separate licence for this codec and could I
ask you to include the copyright/ license information with the Asterisk package.
