I (and reporter of bugs) disagree for asterisk-sounds-fr:
- it is meant for Asterisk 1.0, not 1.2. Which means they are now
incomplete (possibly they were even for 1.0, not sure), and
confusing for users. E.g. the voicemail options blurb says "press 4
to change your password" instead of "press 4 to change your
temporary greeting and 5 to change your password".
- At least to our European ears, the wording choice is not very
idiomatic. Not outright wrong, but weird.
- People complain about sound quality, I find it OK, albeit not
excellent.
I vote to ditch our current asterisk-prompt-fr, create:
asterisk-prompt-fr-proformatique
asterisk-prompt-fr-indigen
asterisk-prompt-fr-digium or asterisk-prompt-fr-ca or asterisk-prompt-fr or ...
and have them all Provides/Conflicts/Replace asterisk-prompt-fr.
For the Spanish prompts, well, ... the ones we have now are Columbian
Spanish and called asterisk-prompt-es-co, so not conflict at all.
