Newbie Alert

Greetings!

I am looking to deploy an Asterisk VOIP solution within my organization and
the only question that I have that is holding me back is how non VOIP users
(HARD LAND LINE) call into the server? I get how the packets route over the
network but at some point they have to drop down and go D to A for
traditional handset users that are not attached to a network?

The costs and setup of a 800 (888, 877, etc) that tie to the VOIP server are
new to me (hence NEWBIE). Any FAQs or starter guides would be most helpful
and appreciated.

Cheers,

Paul Z.
